About the Role Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive and well-resourced educational setting in Maidstone. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), supporting them to achieve their full potential both academically and personally. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, tailored lessons to students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning difficulties. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs Develop and implement EHCP targets effectively Create a nurturing, inclusive, and structured classroom environment Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential Experience working with children or young people with SEN Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures Excellent communication and behaviour management skills A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach What Teaching Personnel Offer Competitive rates of pay Ongoing CPD and training opportunities Dedicated consultant support Access to a wide range of SEN opportunities across Kent Opportunity for permanent placement If you are an enthusiastic SEN Teacher with QTS looking for your next opportunity in Maidstone, we would love to hear from you.
