The school supports young people aged 11–19 with autism and complex learning needs, providing a highly structured and supportive environment where staff work collaboratively to promote both academic progress and personal development. As an SEN Teacher, you will plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to meet individual learning needs. You will work closely with teaching assistants and the wider SEN team to support communication, engagement and positive behaviour, while promoting independence and emotional development within a safe and consistent classroom environment. To be successful, you should have experience working with young people with SEN, ideally within a specialist or inclusive secondary setting. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills, adaptability and a genuine commitment to supporting students with additional needs are essential.
