Are you a caring and motivated SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding role? We’re looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to support young people with complex needs in a supportive and welcoming setting.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a SEN Teacher who wants to make a real difference and help students grow in confidence, communication, and independence.

About the Role – SEN Teacher

As a SEN Teacher, you’ll be working with young people who are at an early stage of communication and development. Many of the students you support will:

* Communicate through behaviour, facial expressions, and body language

* Sometimes respond to others and occasionally start interaction

* Enjoy sensory activities and exploring the world around them

* Feel more comfortable with familiar routines and structure

* Be starting to notice others and build simple connections

As a SEN Teacher, your role is to understand how each student communicates and support them in a way that works for them.

What You’ll Be Doing – SEN Teacher

In this SEN Teacher role, you will:

* Plan simple, personalised lessons that meet each student’s needs

* Use sensory activities and creative approaches to keep learners engaged

* Help students develop communication in their own way

* Build a calm, safe, and structured environment

* Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff

* Celebrate small wins and progress every day as a SEN Teacher

What We’re Looking For – SEN Teacher

We’re looking for a positive and patient SEN Teacher who:

* Has experience working with SEN or complex needs (school or similar setting)

* Understands that communication isn’t always verbal

* Is calm, flexible, and able to adapt to different situations

* Genuinely cares about supporting young people

* Holds a teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS is ideal for a SEN Teacher)

If you’re a passionate SEN Teacher who wants to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you. This SEN Teacher role is all about helping young people feel understood, supported, and valued
