We’re building a strong talent pool of confident, compassionate TAs who can support students with Autism, PMLD, and a range of additional learning needs within specialist provisions for ages 11–19. Every day will be different, and every day you’ll be making a genuine impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting students with Autism and PMLD in 1:1, small-group, and classroom settings
Helping with communication, engagement, sensory regulation, and daily routines
Creating a nurturing, structured learning space where students feel safe and understood
Using visual supports, personalised strategies, and specialist approaches (training provided)
Assisting with academic tasks, life skills, and emotional development
Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support teams to keep progress consistent
What We’re Looking For
Experience supporting young people (SEN or PMLD experience is a bonus but not essential)
Confidence working with students who have Autism and complex needs
A patient, gentle, and resilient approach
Great communication and a genuine passion for helping young people thrive
Willingness to obtain or update an enhanced DBS
