Teaching Assistant (Level 3 or 4) General Cover Teaching Assistant – Day to Day
Location: Birmingham (Various schools)
Pay: £90 - £120 Per day (Based on experience & qualifications)
Contract – Flexible day-to-day opportunities Monday– Friday.

Smile Education is proud to be working with a range of welcoming and supportive primary and secondary schools across Birmingham, who are seeking experienced Level 3 or Level 4 Teaching Assistants for general cover on a day-to-day basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a flexible and proactive Teaching Assistant to gain experience across a variety of school settings, supporting pupils and teachers in delivering engaging lessons.

The Role

• Provide classroom support across a range of year groups and subjects.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Support pupils with varying abilities, including those with additional needs.
• Deliver small group interventions where required.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and expectations.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams.
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion at all times.

Requirements

• Level 3 or Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Previous experience working in a school setting
• Confident supporting across different age groups
• Flexible, reliable and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to provide two references covering the past two years
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
