Start: September 2025A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Enfield is seeking a highly experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join its dedicated SEN hub from September on a full-time basis.

The Role

In this role you will play a key role in delivering tailored support, both one-to-one and in small groups for students with SEND, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential. This role is ideal for someone looking to be part of a well-resourced, purpose-driven SEN provision where pupils are at the heart of everything they do. Ongoing training and support will be available for the right candidate.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will:

Have significant experience working with children with SEND, particularly those with autism, speech and language needs, and communication difficulties
Be confident in using visual aids, such as PECS and visual timetables, to support learning and engagement
Have a strong working knowledge of Makaton and be able to use it effectively in the classroom
Be patient, adaptable, and proactive, with a genuine passion for inclusive education
Work well as part of a team, liaising with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals as neededThe School
