SEN Teaching Assistant | Dover Academics are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-established and highly supportive specialist school in Dover ! This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a nurturing setting that supports pupils aged 5-16 with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). The Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs Support students both academically and socially Assist in implementing EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies Help manage behaviour positively and proactively Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff Promote independence, confidence and engagement in learning The Ideal Candidate: Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school-based preferred but not essential) Confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner Resilient, patient and adaptable Passionate about making a genuine difference in young people's lives Available full-time and committed to a long-term role ** £90 - £95 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only ** You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship ** On site parking included To be an SEN Teaching Assistant - Apply now or contact Ollie Mynard at Academics Ltd: Become a SEN Teaching Assistant today!
