A long-term opportunity has arisen for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, supporting pupils with a wide range of complex needs.
This SEN Teaching Assistant role in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire is based in a highly specialised setting designed for pupils aged 11-19, featuring purpose-built facilities and a strong multi-disciplinary support team.
The Role at a Glance...
Supporting pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties
Assisting with personal care and hygiene routines
Working alongside medical professionals and therapists
Supporting students with conditions requiring PEG feeding and gastrostomy awareness
(training provided, if required)
Your Key Duties...
Provide 1:1 and small group support
Assist with mobility and personal care needs
Aid implementation of EHCPs
Encourage independence and communication skills
What You'll Need
Experience working with SEN, ideally complex needs
Comfort in supporting hygiene and medical-related routines
A calm, patient, and proactive approach
Strong teamwork and communication skills
