We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Kempston, supporting young learners with a range of additional needs. SEN Teaching Assistant - Kempston Location: Kempston Pay: £460 - £500 per week Sector: Education and Training Setting: SEN Specialist School The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Support young learners within a SEN Specialist School Work with pupils who have autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional or behavioural needs Provide one-to-one and small group support in and out of the classroom Assist the class teacher with tailored learning activities Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and personal development Help create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment Play a key role in pupils' progress within education What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who: Has a genuine passion for working in education and training Is patient, caring, and resilient Can build strong relationships with young learners Works well as part of a team in a SEN school setting Has experience supporting children with SEN (desirable but not essential) Is keen to develop their skills within education and training Able to commute to Kempston Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
