Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new opportunity in Maidenhead?
Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school environment, working with students who have a range of additional learning needs.
The Role
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEN.
* Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
* Work closely with teachers and the wider SEN team.
* Help students access the curriculum and develop greater independence.
* Support students with needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other learning difficulties.
* Assist with behaviour management and promote positive engagement.
* Build positive and trusting relationships with students.
* Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.
* Patient, caring and resilient approach.
* Confident supporting students with challenging behaviour.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Passionate about helping young people reach their potential.
* Good understanding of safeguarding.
