Cover People are working with a welcoming primary school in Partington who are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This is a rewarding role supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them access learning and feel supported within the classroom.
The Role
Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
Assisting children with learning, behaviour and emotional regulation
Helping pupils access the curriculum and stay engaged
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Creating a calm, structured and supportive environment
✅ About You
Experience working with SEN pupils (ASD, SEMH, ADHD or similar desirable)
Patient, resilient and nurturing approach
Confident supporting behaviour and additional needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
