What type of individuals are we looking for?
* We need experienced SEN Teaching Assistants
* Individuals with either a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
* Confident individuals who are happy to work in whole class, in small groups or on a 1-2-1 basis
* Positive role models who work closely with the class teacher to offer pupils additional support
* Individuals who are passionate about the education of young learners – especially those with additional needs (SEN)
* Individuals available to work full and part-time hours Monday to Friday, on day-to-day and/or long-term assignments, starting asap
Ideally, the individals we need are Level 2 and/or Full and Relevant (for pupil ratio reasons) Level 3 qualified and have practical classroom experience working with pupils who have additional needs. The additional needs can be specific e.g. Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language, or more general learning difficulties.
Whether working closely with the class teacher in whole class, taking smaller groups or doing 1-2-1 intervention work, our SEN Teaching Assistants confidently provide a valuable contribution to the schools we assist.
We always have a variety of short and long-term opportunities for SEN Teaching Assistants looking to broaden their practical classroom experience working on supply. Assignments can be full and/or part-time to help manage life/work balance.
