SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Role: SEND Teachng Assistant Location: Ruislip, Hillingdon Pay Rate: £95-£115 per day (PAYE) Start Date: April 2026 Tradewind Recruitment is working with a supportive primary school in Hillingdon to appoint an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work within their Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) from after the Easter holidays. The ARP provides specialist teaching and support for pupils with identified SEND, offering structured routines, small group learning, and personalised interventions to support progress and inclusion. Key Responsibilities: Provide consistent 1:1 SEND support Support pupils with communication and social development Implement behaviour and sensory support strategies Assist with personalised learning plans and EHCP targets Encourage inclusion into mainstream activities where appropriate Requirements: Previous experience working in a primary SEND or ARP setting Understanding of autism and communication needs Strong teamwork and communication skills Full-time availability from after Easter Apply today with Tradewind Recruitment to secure your role for the summer term
