SEN Teaching Assistant - Long-Term Opportunity | Birmingham (B12) | Immediate Start Are you a proactive, hands-on SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role? Academics are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Birmingham (B12) who are seeking a committed individual to join their team on a long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact from day one, supporting three Reception-aged children with a range of mixed SEN needs. This is a full-time role. The Role: Providing tailored, 1:1 and small group support within a Reception setting Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver engaging, supportive learning Encouraging development in communication, social skills, and early learning Creating a nurturing, structured, and positive environmentWhat We're Looking For: Someone who is hands-on, intuitive, and uses common sense in day-to-day situations A calm, supportive, and patient approach Ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly to the needs of the children A positive, energetic attitude with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs Previous SEN or EYFS experience is desirable, but the right attitude is essentialWhy Apply?
