Revolve Collective is working closely with a specialist education provider in Stoke-on-Trent to recruit SEN Teaching Assistants across its Blythe Bridge and Trent Vale sites.
The provision supports children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs. Building trust, maintaining consistent routines and helping pupils feel secure are central to its approach. This work calls for someone who can recognise when a pupil needs reassurance, a clear boundary or a different way into learning.
Supporting pupils day to day

Work alongside teachers to help pupils access lessons and take part.

Follow individual support strategies and agreed behaviour approaches.

Help pupils manage emotions, build relationships and develop independence.
*
Share observations with colleagues so support remains consistent.
Relevant backgrounds
Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant is useful, but we also welcome applications from Support Workers, Residential Support Workers and youth workers with relevant SEN or SEMH experience.
Tell us about the people you have supported, your safeguarding responsibilities and any practical experience of de-escalation. Experience outside a school can be valuable where those skills transfer to working with children.
