Job Vacancy: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Primary School, Nuneaton We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Nuneaton. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment. About the Role As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support for children with a variety of SEND, ensuring they can fully engage in the curriculum. You will help create an inclusive learning environment, providing both academic and emotional support to children, while working closely with other staff members to meet individual learning needs. Key Responsibilities: Assist in delivering targeted support for children with SEND Help implement individual learning plans and strategies Provide one-on-one and small group support in class Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to teachers Support children in developing social and emotional skills Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times Key Requirements: Experience working with children with SEND, ideally in a school setting A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children's needs Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team Ability to follow guidance and implement strategies effectively A passion for making a positive impact on children's development Why Join Us?
