Responsibilities Beyond Teaching Communication and professionalism are essential parts of this role. Tutors are expected to: Keep accurate attendance records Monitor and document both academic and emotional progress Provide updates that can be shared with schools and other professionals Maintain clear and organised records in line with safeguarding expectations The information you provide may contribute to EHCP reviews, education planning, and discussions with external agencies, so careful reporting is important.
