SEN Tutor (Primary) - Location: Manchester City, Manchester - Position: SEN Tutor - Hours: Approx. 2-30 Hours/week - Rate: £25.00 - £35.00 p/hr - Contract: Ongoing Are you an experienced SEN Tutor looking for part time work in an Outreach provision in and around the Manchester City area? We are looking for a part-time and full-time SEN Tutor to work with a primary aged pupil. We are looking for an engaging SEN Tutor with experience working with children with high levels of anxiety, ASD, and ADHD. Experience supporting children with ODD is essential. SEN Tutor Responsibilities: - To build a bridge into learning * To build up a rapport and gain confidence and trust * To assess learners needs and plan and implement tailored and structured programs of learning in line with young persons EHCP outcomes - Ensure safeguarding around our young, vulnerable learners is at the forefront - Making sure our young learners feel safe and secure - Provide our learners with the best possible platform for education - Create and follow a pupil specific plan - Provide emotional support and well-being - Ensure pupil progress is recorded and shared with the necessary individuals SEN Tutor Requirements: - Experience in supporting primary learners - Recognised De-escalation Training or willingness to obtain - Experience working with children who have Social, Emotional, Mental Health Needs (SEMH), Emotional, Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), and a range of SENDs - Experience working with young learners with undiagnosed needs
