1:1 SEND Tutor (KS1-KS4) - Cheshire East Part-time, 10-15 hours per week, Start ASAP, Ongoing Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with Local Authorities and SEND teams across the UK to provide high-quality educational support to young people who are currently unable to access mainstream education. We are looking for a Qualified Teacher (QTS or equivalent) to deliver 1:1 Maths and English tuition to students across KS1-KS4 in the Cheshire East area. The young people you will support have a diagnosis of Autism and ADHD and have often been out of education for some time. Your role will be to assess their current level, reintroduce learning at an appropriate pace, and help them progress in their core subjects. Tuition will take place either in a local library or in the young person's home, depending on individual needs. Key Responsibilities Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition in Maths and English at a level appropriate to each learner Assess ability and plan engaging, accessible sessions Support students with Autism, ADHD, and additional SEND needs Rebuild confidence, routine, and readiness for future school placement Use creative and flexible approaches to engage learners who may be disengaged from education Requirements QTS or equivalent teaching qualification Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils Strong understanding of Autism, ADHD, and differentiated learning UK classroom teaching experience Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply Right to work in the UK Ability to provide two professional, child-related references Patient, adaptable, and creative approach to teaching Position Details Role: 1:1 SEN Tutor (KS1-KS4) Location: Cheshire East Hours: 10-15 per week Start date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Why Work With Prospero Teaching Flexible working hours Highly rewarding 1:1 teaching role Ongoing support from a dedicated SEND team Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a young person's life
