Leader Group is working on behalf of a brand-new specialist school to recruit a passionate and committed SEND Teacher.

About the School

This new specialist setting is designed to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and other SEND profiles.

With a strong focus on personalised learning, small class sizes, and therapeutic support, the school aims to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where pupils can re-engage with education and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
Support pupils with SEND, including SEMH, to access learning and achieve positive outcomes
Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
Work collaboratively with support staff, families, and external professionals

Contribute to the development of curriculum and school culture as the provision grows

About You

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Experience working with pupils with SEND
Strong classroom management and a nurturing, patient approach
Ability to differentiate effectively to meet diverse needs
Passionate about making a difference in a specialist education setting
