Salary: GBP90.00 -GBP120.00 per day
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

We are working alongside a welcoming and inclusive specialist school in Wolverhampton is seeking a committed SEMH teaching assistant to join its experienced and supportive team. SEND Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities
· Deliver one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
· Work closely with the class teacher to support learning activities, behaviour management, and targeted interventions
· Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and resilience throughout the school day
· Support the monitoring of pupil progress and maintain clear communication with staff and families
SEND Teaching Assistant - Person Specification
· Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs (education, care, or youth settings)
· A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to behaviour support
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· A sound understanding of SEMH and SEND strategies
· A relevant qualification in education, care, or support is advantageous but not essential
SEND Teaching Assistant - To Be Eligible You Must:
· Hold the Right to Work in the UK
· Have an enhanced child barred list DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply)
· Be able to provide two professional references (child-related preferred)
