SEND Teaching Assistant

The Supply Register is delighted to be working in partnership with Prospere Trust Schools and is looking for caring, enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to join the dedicated team at Piper Hill Specialist School as soon as possible. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with additional needs, helping them meet learning goals and reach their full potential. There is also the opportunity to apply to become a permanent member of staff.

The Role

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
Assisting with learning, behaviour regulation, and emotional wellbeing
Working closely with teachers and the wider multidisciplinary team
Helping to implement individual education and behaviour support plans
Promoting positive relationships and engagement in learning
The Ideal Candidate

Experience working with SEN and/or SEMH pupils
A calm, patient, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Relevant qualifications or training are desirable but not essential
