We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants with SEND experience to join our team, working in primary schools across the Cambridge area. Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time work, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
Responsibilities:
* Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) across all year groups.
* Work closely with teachers to provide tailored support and ensure all pupils can access the curriculum.
* Assist with planning and implementing individualised learning plans for SEND pupils.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment to promote students' social and emotional well-being.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and support students during lessons and activities.
* Provide one-to-one or small-group support as needed.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children with SEND in a school setting is essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
* A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to meet diverse pupil needs.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
* .A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
