Are you an experienced and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant looking for your next full-time role in Rotherham?

Trust Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Rotherham that is looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children with additional needs, helping them to thrive both academically and personally in a nurturing environment.

Your Responsibilities

* Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) both in and out of the classroom.

* Deliver targeted interventions and provide one-to-one or small group support where required.

* Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement individual learning plans.

* Encourage pupil engagement, independence and confidence.

* Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

* Follow school safeguarding, behaviour and SEND policies at all times.

What We're Looking For

* Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a UK primary school.

* A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (such as CACHE Level 2 or Level 3) is desirable but not essential with suitable experience.

* A caring, patient and proactive approach to supporting children with additional needs.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
