Horizon Teachers are looking for an experienced and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a Primary school in Wandsworth on a long-term basis. This role involves supporting children with special educational needs both in and out of the classroom on a 1:1 and group basis, so a caring and patient nature is essential.  The school is within walking distance to a mainline train station and offers opportunities for progression. If you are interested, please apply!    What you’ll be doing Supporting children with SEND so they can access learning and feel confident at school. Providing personal care when needed (e.g. toileting, feeding, or mobility support). Working closely with the class teacher to adapt activities and resources to suit individual needs. Encouraging independence, social skills, and self-esteem. Building trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families.  What we’re looking for Experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting, or in a similar care focused role. Someone who is flexible and is happy to work across a range of year groups. A patient, empathetic, and reliable approach to both learning support and personal care.
