£200-£300 per day (DOE)
Full-time | Immediate / Easter start

A secondary school in South Birmingham is looking for an experienced SENCo to take full responsibility for SEND provision on a long-term basis.

This is a high-demand role in a school where SEND needs are significant. You will need to be confident leading from the front, managing EHCP processes, and working closely with SLT, staff, and external agencies.

The Role:
Lead and manage SEND provision across the school
Oversee EHCPs, annual reviews, and interventions
Work closely with SLT and teaching staff to improve outcomes
Support behaviour strategies for students with additional needs

The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher with SENCo experience (or aspiring SENCo with strong background)
Confident managing a high caseload of SEND students
Strong understanding of EHCP processes and statutory requirements
Resilient, organised, and able to lead in a demanding environment

What's on Offer:
£200-£300 per day depending on experience
Full-time, long-term stability
Opportunity to step into (or continue in) a leadership role
Immediate start available

This role is not suited to someone looking for a light workload. It requires strong organisation, clear communication, and the ability to manage pressure.

Before we can progress your application, please confirm:
Your SENCo experience (or relevant SEND leadership experience)
Availability to start
Experience managing EHCPs and reviews
DBS status

I'm shortlisting immediately and prioritising candidates who can demonstrate strong SEND leadership and availability.
