Senior AC & Refrigeration engineer

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year Job Title: Senior Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer Location: Greater London (Mobile role – primarily within Inner M25) About the Role: We are actively seeking an experienced Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Senior Engineer to join our growing team. This is a mobile position covering sites across Greater London, typically attending 1–2 sites per day or 3–5 callouts depending on workload. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance, inspection, and servicing of air conditioning, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment. Key Responsibilities: Carry out preventative, reactive, and planned maintenance (PPM) on: * AHUs * Chillers * Split units * Fan coil units * Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently * Liaise with building maintenance teams and complete detailed reports * Undertake general ad-hoc maintenance tasks as required * Complete small works, installations, and refurbishment of HVAC systems Requirements: * Proven experience in service, installation, PPMs, and reactive maintenance * Ideally trade qualified in Air Conditioning / Refrigeration * Strong knowledge of building services, including: * Basic electrical * Mechanical * Plumbing systems * Solid understanding of chillers and refrigeration plant * F-Gas 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants certification (essential) * Excellent communication and customer-facing skills * Well-presented, organised, and highly articulate * Good IT skills with strong record-keeping ability What We Offer: * Salary up to £45,000 per annum * Company van * Uniform provided * Mobile phone and iPad * Paid travel time * Overtime opportunities and call-out rota * 28 days annual leave * Birthday paid leave * Pension scheme * Employee Assistance Programme
