LOCATION: Tampa, FL JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
Overseeing the planning, negotiating, and execution of M&A deals from start to finish.
Acting as a client's main point of contact and offering legal, strategic, and commercial advice.
Overseeing and guiding paralegals and junior associates throughout the whole deal-making process.
Coordinating with experts in finance, tax, regulation, and intellectual property to handle challenging transactional problems.
Drafting primary transaction agreements and managing crucial talks.
Handling post-closing concerns, such as integration problems, purchase price changes, and dispute settlement. SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
J.D. from a recognized legal education institution.
Outstanding academic background.
Admission to the Florida Bar.
6–8+ years of corporate transactional expertise at a top law firm, with an emphasis on M&A.
Shown capacity to oversee all aspects of a transaction on their own.
