Senior Care Assistant Bamber Bridge - Preston Days - £14.00 per hour | 44‑hour contract Nights - £14.00 per hour | 33-hour contract  We are currently recruiting an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join a welcoming 55‑bed residential service supporting individuals with Dementia. About the Role As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead and support the care team, ensuring high standards of person‑centred care and full compliance with CQC guidelines. You will act as a role model within the service, supervising and guiding junior staff and contributing to a positive, safe, and caring environment for residents. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Care Assistant: Oversee and support the care team on shift Ensure care delivery meets CQC standards Promote high‑quality, resident‑focused care Mentor, supervise, and guide less experienced staff Contribute to care planning and quality monitoring Requirements for the Senior Care Assistant: Minimum 1 year's experience as a Senior Care Assistant NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (essential) Strong communication and written skills Previous experience in elderly care Self‑motivated, organised, and resilient Able to work independently and as part of a team Flexible and dependable, with the ability to work under pressure What's on Offer for the Senior Care Assistant: Career development opportunities Paid induction training Fortnightly pay DBS cost covered Free uniform 28 days' paid annual leave (pro rata) Pension scheme For further information or to apply please contact Amanda at Time Recruitment
