Senior Care Worker

KRSL are looking for people who are ready to make a positive impact by enabling people with health conditions or impairments to remain in dependent in their own homes. We are recruiting a Senior Care worker to cover the Torbay area. This will be a remote role offering care services in the local community, therefore your own transport is essential. This will be 35 hours per week Monday-Friday, with a requirement to work every other weekend. You will ideally be NVQ Level 3 qualified and have previous experience in a similar environment. Responsibilities:

* To deliver high quality care to people and their families

* To provide the highest quality care to service users in their own homes in accordance with their Care plan, in person-centred approach.

* Personal care includes washing, dressing, bathing, toileting.

* Administering medication - monitoring and/or assistance.

* Recording Medication administration

* Engage and work closely with unpaid carers, such as family or friends.

* Promote dignity and privacy.

* Act as a role model to all Care Workers

* Be aware of CQC fundamental standards

* Complete – medication audits and conduct supervisions.
