Senior Civil Engineer Birmingham (Hybrid Working) £45,000 - 55,000 + Benefits I am currently working on behalf of a progressive, design-led civil and structural engineering consultancy to appoint a Civil Engineer to join their Birmingham team. The Role The successful candidate will support the design and delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop efficient and practical solutions. They will be involved in projects from initial concept through to detailed design and delivery, contributing to both technical outputs and overall project coordination. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design and delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure schemes Prepare technical drawings, reports, and engineering calculations Work collaboratively with structural engineers and wider design teams Contribute to projects from concept stage through to completion Liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities Ensure designs align with BIM processes and sustainability objectivesCandidate Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline Experience in residential and/or commercial development design Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Site 3D, MicroDrainage, and Flow (or similar) Understanding of sustainable design principles and BIM workflows Strong communication and teamwork skills Proactive and motivated approach to project deliveryWhat’s on Offer Salary up to £55,000 depending on experience Hybrid working Opportunity to join a forward-thinking, design-led consultancy Exposure to innovative and sustainable engineering projects Supportive and collaborative team environment Clear opportunities for career progression If you are a Civil Engineer looking to join a modern consultancy focused on innovation and sustainability, please apply now or contact
