Senior Engineer – Development Projects & Career Progression
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Engineer (Civil or Structural background) to join a growing engineering consultancy in London.
This role is suitable for an engineer with a minimum of 2 years’ experience who is looking to step up into a Senior Engineer position and take on greater responsibility across design delivery and project involvement. You’ll be working on a wide range of development-led projects within the residential, commercial and mixed-use sectors.
This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills, gain exposure to complex projects, and progress within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
* Support and lead the design of civil or structural engineering elements on development projects
* Work across residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes from concept through to delivery
* Produce technical drawings, reports and design calculations
* Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and wider design teams
* Assist with project coordination and delivery activities
* Contribute to highways, drainage and infrastructure design where required
* Ensure all work is delivered accurately and to project deadlines
* Support senior staff and help mentor junior engineers
About You
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in civil or structural engineering
* Experience within a consultancy or development environment
* Strong technical understanding of engineering design principles
* Experience with relevant software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar desirable)
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ambitious and keen to progress into a Senior Engineer role
