Senior Civil Engineer Location: Sevenoaks, Kent Salary: £52,000 - £62,000 Ready to take true technical ownership and lead infrastructure design across the South East? This Senior Civil Engineer opportunity in Sevenoaks offers autonomy, leadership and clear progression within a respected private consultancy. A well-established engineering practice delivering commercial, retail and residential schemes is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to strengthen its Sevenoaks team. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will lead highways and drainage packages from concept through to construction while mentoring junior engineers. This Senior Civil Engineer role combines hands-on design with statutory approvals, client engagement and technical checking responsibility. Key responsibilities * Lead highways and drainage design for adoptable and private works * Manage S38, S278 and S104 submissions * Act as technical checker using Civil 3D and drainage software * Liaise with authorities, water companies and stakeholders * Support programme, budget and quality control Candidate requirements * Degree qualified in Civil Engineering * Minimum six years' UK consultancy experience * Strong highways and foul and surface water drainage expertise * Proficient in Civil 3D and MicroDrainage or Flow * Confident communicator with leadership capability Why apply This Senior Civil Engineer position offers a salary of £52,000 - £62,000, structured progression and the opportunity to act as a technical authority within a collaborative Sevenoaks team.
