Apply NowDelta Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join an established civil engineering contractor delivering a significant programme of infrastructure works across the North West.
This is a senior operational position with overall oversight of a portfolio of live projects. The successful individual will provide leadership and direction across the contracts, supporting the existing Contracts Management team and acting as a key link between senior leadership, operational management and the client.
Projects involve substantial and technically challenging civil engineering and infrastructure works.
The role will include:
* Overall operational oversight of multiple live civil engineering projects
* Leading, supporting and providing direction to Contracts Managers and Project Managers
* Acting as a key link between senior leadership, operational management and the client
* Monitoring project and contract performance, identifying where intervention or additional support is required
* Maintaining strong relationships with senior client representatives
* Providing senior oversight across programme, commercial performance, safety and quality
* Driving performance, accountability and successful delivery across the portfolio
We are looking for:
* An experienced Senior Contracts Manager or highly experienced Contracts Manager ready to step up
* A strong background in civil engineering and major infrastructure projects
* Experience overseeing multiple projects or contracts simultaneously
* Experience delivering complex civils works, including deep drainage, reinforced concrete structures and associated infrastructure
* Strong operational leadership, commercial awareness and client management skills
* The ability to identify problems and drive corrective action across multiple projects
There is a significant pipeline of secured and upcoming work, offering genuine long term prospects for the right individual, whether joining on a subcontract or permanent basis.
