Senior Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer / Sub Agent to join the team on the prestigious Sizewell C development, supporting critical HDD, tunnelling and shaft works packages. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of one of the UK’s largest and most high-profile infrastructure projects, contributing to complex civil engineering works with a strong technical and documentation focus. The Role Working within the delivery team, you will take a lead role in managing engineering activities across Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), tunnels and shaft construction, with significant responsibility for documentation, technical submissions, and quality assurance. Key Responsibilities * Oversee engineering delivery of HDD, tunnelling and shaft works * Manage subcontractors and site engineers * Lead on RAMS, ITPs, WPPs and technical documentation * Review and approve drawings and technical submissions * Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget * Interface with design teams and client representatives * Maintain accurate site records and quality documentation * Contribute to programme updates and progress reporting Requirements * Proven experience as a Senior Engineer or Sub Agent on major civils projects * Strong background in HDD, tunnelling, shafts or heavy civil engineering * Excellent knowledge of QA processes and documentation control * Experience managing subcontractors and engineering teams * Ability to manage technical queries and design coordination * CSCS (Black or Gold), SMSTS preferred * Strong communication and organisational skills What’s on Offer * 12-month secured workload * Opportunity to work on a nationally significant infrastructure scheme * Exposure to complex underground engineering works * Competitive day rate (DOE) If This Role Sounds Of Interest please apply and one of my teams will be in touch
