Apply NowAn established and growing infrastructure delivery business is seeking a Senior Engineer to support the successful delivery of utility and civil engineering projects across the Northern Home Counties and into the Midlands.

The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of utility infrastructure projects, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to programme.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing engineering activities across multiple utility projects
* Supporting project delivery teams with technical guidance and site coordination
* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
* Liaising with clients, subcontractors, local authorities, and stakeholders
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documentation
* Assisting with programme management, reporting, and progress tracking
* Conducting site inspections and resolving engineering issues as they arise
* Supporting continuous improvement and best practice across projects
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates should have:
* A degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline
* Minimum 2 years' experience within the utilities or infrastructure sector
* Strong understanding of utility project delivery and site operations
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities across several live projects
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Willingness to travel across the Northern Home Counties and Midlands region
Desirable Experience
* Experience working on water, gas, power, telecoms, or multi-utility projects
* Knowledge of NEC contracts and utility standards
* SMSTS, CSCS, or other relevant site certifications
* Experience working with principal contractors or utility providers
