The role Senior Estimator – Painting & Decorating will involve:
* Estimator position dealing with a range of commercial painting & decorating projects
* Lead end-to-end tendering process, including take-offs, pricing, submission, and handover.
* Prepare accurate cost estimates using drawings, specifications, and estimating software.
* Manage and track tender opportunities within CRM, ensuring timely follow-ups to maximise conversions.
* Engage with clients and contractors through site visits, technical input, and value engineering to support bids.
* Collaborate with internal teams, lead handovers, and mentor junior estimators to strengthen delivery and capability.
* Working on project sizes varying in size from £4k to £4m
The ideal applicant will be a Senior Estimator – Painting & Decorating with:
* Must have Estimating experience within one or more of the following; decorating, and /or painting sectors
* Preferably coming from a sub-contractor background with commercial project experience
* Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
* Highly organised with good attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
* Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
* Full UK driving license
