An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to the Managing Director while leading a small team of Executive Assistants who support the wider Director Group.

This is a high-profile role within the Corporate Planning team, where you will play a key part in ensuring seamless coordination across the Director Group. Operating at senior leadership level, you will manage complex schedules, oversee executive support operations, and help drive efficiency through the governance and coordination of the corporate calendar.

The role combines hands-on Executive Assistant support with team leadership, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders while supporting the effectiveness of the wider leadership team.

What you’ll be doing:

Key Responsibilities

* Provide comprehensive Executive Assistant support to the Managing Director.

* Manage a complex and ever-changing diary, ensuring effective scheduling, prioritisation, and proactive management of commitments.

* Coordinate domestic and international travel using Egencia, including itinerary planning, accommodation bookings, and logistics.

* Process purchase orders, invoices, and expenses using Oracle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.

* Act as a key liaison with external stakeholders, including government bodies and senior partners.

* Support the management of the Executive Office budget, including tracking spend and preparing reports.

* Organise and coordinate VIP visits and key corporate events, ensuring a high standard of delivery and experience.

Corporate Planning Support

* Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to manage and maintain the Corporate Calendar, ensuring effective scheduling and coordination of meetings and events across the Director Group.

* Prepare presentations, reports, meeting agendas and documentation for senior leadership.

* Provide minute-taking and meeting administration for governance forums and key business meetings.

* Support the development and maintenance of corporate governance frameworks and documentation.

* Assist with the coordination of large leadership meetings and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring effective planning and logistics.

Team Leadership

* Lead and develop a small team of Executive Assistants, setting standards for executive support across the Director Group.

* Act as a central coordination point between Directors and the Managing Director, supporting alignment of priorities and communication.

* Develop new ways of working as part of a modernised EA support model.

* Introduce and track team performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.

* Ensure effective holiday cover and resource planning across the EA team.

* Foster a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing team culture.

Qualifications and Experience

We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive professional who is comfortable operating at senior leadership level and leading a support team in a fast-paced environment.

Essential experience:

* Extensive experience supporting senior executives or board-level leaders

* Experience managing or leading a team

* Excellent diary management and organisational skills

* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

* Experience managing expenses, budgets and financial administration using Oracle

* Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel

* Exceptional attention to detail

* Experience coordinating travel arrangements and itineraries using Egencia

Desirable

* Experience establishing or developing Executive Assistant teams or shared support functions

* Experience working within corporate governance or corporate planning environments
