What's on offer:  Competitive salary (DOE) Annual bonus scheme Hybrid working (3 days from home) 23 days' holiday + bank holidays On-site parking & shuttle service Discounted gym membership Ongoing training & development 5 days' paid study leave You will handle a complex caseload of public law children matters, alongside some private family work where required, including:  Care proceedings and PLO matters Acting for parents, family members, and Guardians (including Guardian Following work) Special Guardianship Orders and related applications Domestic abuse injunctions and associated proceedings You will also:  Provide high-quality, empathetic client care to vulnerable clients Undertake advocacy where appropriate Supervise and support junior lawyers, trainees, and paralegals Manage legal aid matters via CCMS, ensuring full compliance Play an active role in maintaining and developing client relationships and the firm's reputation About you:  Qualified Solicitor/CILEX/Lawyer (England & Wales) with significant PQE in Family Law Substantial experience in Care/Public Law work is essential, including Guardian Following Strong legal aid background with solid CCMS experience Confident advocate with excellent drafting and case management skills Experience supporting or supervising junior team members A compassionate and professional approach, with a genuine commitment to client care This is a standout opportunity for a senior lawyer looking to join a respected, people-focused firm where you can take the lead on meaningful work while continuing to progress your career.
