Senior Fire Alarm Engineer – Recruiting for a Leading Fire Safety Provider 📍 Essex, East & North London, some South London & further afield 🚗 Company Vehicle + Fuel Card | Competitive Salary | Career Progression I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established fire safety solutions company specialising in fire alarm, AOV, and damper systems. They are looking for a skilled Senior Fire Alarm Engineer to join their team, working on installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance across a wide range of projects. Key Responsibilities * Service, maintain, install, and commission fire alarm systems from small to large scale * Lead complex fault finding and troubleshooting on fire alarm systems * Program and test cause & effect sequences on advanced panels * Work with relay wiring and system inputs for integration * Deliver excellent customer service and professional communication on site Ideal Candidate * Extensive experience in fire alarm and AOV system servicing, fault diagnosis, installation, and commissioning * Strong technical knowledge and ability to work independently * Competent in cause & effect programming on advanced fire alarm systems * Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills Essential & Desirable Qualifications * UK Driving Licence (essential) * FIA or equivalent qualifications (desirable) * Solid understanding of current British Standards for fire alarm systems What’s on Offer * Company vehicle, fuel card, phone, laptop, and specialist tools supplied * Travel time paid (less 30 minutes each way) * Competitive salary and overtime rates (time and a half/double time) * 28 days holiday (increasing with service) plus pension scheme access * Flexible working and call-out rota opportunities * Comprehensive training and continuous professional development * Out-of-hours technical support If you are an experienced Senior Fire Alarm Engineer ready to join a forward-thinking and supportive team, please get in touch
