Apply NowAre you a Hydraulic Modeller who has Tuflow and Flood Modeller experience? Would you like to join a supportive team of Engineers, based in Bristol?
Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in Hydrology or Civil Engineering and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow. It is also beneficial for applicants to reside in Bristol and have a keen interest in climate change, flood risk modelling and drainage engineering.
This exciting role will offer you the chance to complete varied residential, commercial, healthcare, education and industrial projects for private and public sector clients with sustainability and carbon reduction in mind. Working in a fast-pace environment, you will complete varied technical work, manage projects and mentor when needed. You will also be expected to complete the following;
Hydraulic modelling and model build using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
Flood risk assessments.
Flood consequence assessments
Nutrient neutrality assessments.
Drainage strategies and SuDS design using infodrainage.
Hydrological assessments.
Natural flood management, wetland management, re-wetting and re-wilding projects.
Flood risk mapping and flood estimation using ArcGIS.
Support new team members and complex hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities to develop new opportunities and ensure projects are delivered to time and budget.This role comes with a competitive salary, benefits package, a supportive and fun working environment and hybrid working from Bristol.
