Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer - Leeds - £45-£55K + Excellent Benefits An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer to join a leading, employee-owned multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Leeds. Operating at the forefront of the built environment, the business delivers high-quality Civil, Structural and Geoenvironmental Engineering services across a wide range of sectors throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer with 5–10 years’ experience to support and lead project delivery nationwide. The Role As a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer, you will take a lead role in delivering geoenvironmental projects, providing technical expertise and supporting both infrastructure and structural engineering teams. Key responsibilities include: * Leading the production of Phase I & II geoenvironmental reports * Designing and managing ground investigation projects * Overseeing site works, including logging of soil and rock * Developing remediation strategies and options appraisals * Managing project budgets, programmes and subcontractors * Liaising with clients, regulators and stakeholders * Mentoring and supporting junior team members * Ensuring all work meets health, safety and environmental standards About You * Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or similar * 5+ years’ post-graduate experience in a consultancy or contractor environment * Working towards or achieved Chartered status (Geological Society, CIWEM, CIEH or similar) * Strong knowledge of contaminated land, geotechnical engineering and site investigations * Experience with ground investigation design and reporting * Understanding of DQRA assessments (desirable) * Excellent report writing and communication skills * Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel/work away The Opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer looking to progress their career within a forward-thinking, employee-owned consultancy, offering exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects and clear career progression.
