SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT – AGENCY ROLE Elderly & Dementia Care We are currently recruiting experienced Senior Care Assistants to join our agency team, providing high-quality care within care homes supporting elderly residents, including those living with dementia. This flexible agency role offers competitive pay and the opportunity to work across a variety of care settings. Key Responsibilities: * Lead shifts and support care staff on duty * Deliver person-centred care to elderly residents * Provide specialist support to residents living with dementia * Administer medication safely and accurately * Confidently use eMAR (electronic Medication Administration Record) systems * Maintain accurate care documentation * Liaise with families, nurses, and healthcare professionals Essential Requirements: * NVQ Level 3 / Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) – Mandatory * Minimum 1–2 years’ experience working with elderly and dementia care * Proven experience using eMAR systems * Medication administration trained and competent * Strong leadership and communication skills * Reliable, professional, and adaptable What We Offer: * Competitive hourly rates * Flexible shifts (days, nights, weekends available) * Weekly pay * Ongoing support from our dedicated agency team * Opportunity to work in a variety of care home settings An Enhanced DBS is required (or willingness to obtain one).
