Senior Interior Designer - FF&E
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join their creative team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of complex, multi-room residential projects, shaping cohesive and beautifully executed interiors from concept through to completion.
The Opportunity -
As a Senior Interior Designer, you will lead the creative direction of high-end residential and heritage projects, delivering thoughtful spatial design and expertly curated FF&E schemes. You will play a key role in translating design concepts into detailed, buildable solutions, ensuring consistency and quality at every stage.
This position is ideal for a designer with a passion for craftsmanship, period architecture, and bespoke detailing, who is ready to take a leadership role within a collaborative studio environment.
Key Responsibilities -
Design Leadership: Lead design strategy, produce and develop layouts, drawings and bespoke joinery designs; Create presentation boards, material palettes and FF&E schemes; Prepare and manage budgets for client approval; Oversee on-site installations and final styling.
Team Collaboration & Mentorship: Mentor and support Midweight and Junior Designers; Participate in design reviews and site visits.
Client & Supplier Engagement: Build strong client relationships and understand project aspirations; Liaise with suppliers, craftspeople and specialists for costing and delivery; Contribute to the development of the studio’s materials library.
Documentation & Delivery: Oversee the preparation of presentations, specifications and budgets; Maintain clear and accurate documentation throughout all project stages; Lead the design team to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
Skills & Experience Required from the Senior Interior Designer -
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in high-end residential interior design
* Strong client-facing and presentation skills
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage complex projects
* In-depth knowledge of luxury FF&E, materials, finishes, and lighting
* Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Excel and EstiPC (or similar)
