Senior Mechanical Estimator

We’re working with an established and privately-owned Contractor who are looking for a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their team based in North West, focusing on a variety of Building Services projects across sectors such as MOJ, Retail, Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Residential and much more. This role will require you to work autonomously on projects valued from £3m - £7m M&E, they currently have 20 people across Design and Pre-Construction teams and this role will offer a relaxed entry into the role with support from an existing Senior Estimator, with and Estimator and Junior Estimator below you. This company is currently turning over £32m as of 2025 and have increased their turnover this year by £13m, with next year due to be even busier! Key responsibilities include: * Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions * Quantifying labour, materials, plant, and specialist subcontractor costs * Reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotations * Attending site visits * Interpreting specifications and drawings * Identifying value engineering and cost-saving opportunities * Supporting post-tender negotiations and project handovers * Maintaining accurate estimating records and cost databases You’ll be joining a company which thrives in a strong company culture, a growing team of industry professionals who continue to compete with Tier 1 contractors and there is opportunity for flexible remote working, in time, to ensure work/life balance.
