Senior MEP Project Manager – Major MoJ Project - Chichester, England A leading Tier 1 UK contractor with over £1bn annual turnover is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Project Manager to join their team on a major Ministry of Justice prison project on the South Coast. The business has a long-standing reputation for delivering complex projects across the MoD, MoJ, commercial and heritage sectors throughout the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced MEP professional who is based on or near the South Coast and looking for long-term regional work with a stable, highly respected main contractor. The Role: Working as part of the senior project leadership team, you will take full responsibility for the delivery of the mechanical and electrical packages on a large-scale custodial project. You will lead the coordination, planning and execution of MEP works to ensure successful delivery in line with programme, cost and quality objectives. Key Responsibilities * Lead the planning, management and delivery of MEP works on a major MoJ construction project * Manage MEP subcontractors and supply chain partners throughout the project lifecycle * Coordinate closely with design, commercial and construction teams to ensure programme milestones are achieved * Oversee technical compliance, quality assurance and commissioning processes * Ensure health & safety standards are maintained across all MEP activities * Provide regular progress updates to senior project stakeholders Requirements * Proven experience delivering MEP packages on large construction projects * Experience working with a main contractor or major construction business * Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills * A relevant degree in construction, engineering or building services, or chartership with a recognised professional body (or working towards) is highly desirable * Experience on public sector, infrastructure or secure environments would be advantageous The Opportunity This role offers the chance to work with a major Tier 1 contractor with a strong pipeline of government-backed projects, providing excellent long-term career stability in the region.
