Job Title: Senior Nursery Practitioner

Location: Gravesend area

Salary: Up to £14.16 per hour + £1,000 Welcome Bonus

Hours: Full Time | 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and well-established nursery setting in the Gravesend area.

This is a fantastic role for an experienced Early Years professional looking to take the next step, supporting the delivery of high-quality care and education while acting as a role model within the team.

The setting offers a stimulating, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, create, and develop a love of learning through play-based experiences, both indoors and outdoors.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver engaging and high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework

* Support children’s development through play, exploration, and daily routines

* Act as a role model, demonstrating best practice across the team

* Build strong, meaningful relationships with children and their families

* Support a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment

* Ensure high standards of safeguarding, care, and wellbeing are maintained

Requirements

* Level 3 Early Years qualification

* Experience working across all Early Years age groups

* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills

* A genuine passion for child development and care
