We’re working with a well-established, design-led building services consultancy in Central London, seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys high-quality, design-focused projects and thrives in a collaborative environment alongside architects and multidisciplinary teams. Projects include commercial offices, high-end residential, and student accommodation, offering real variety and technical challenge. The Role You will lead the design and delivery of mechanical building services systems, including HVAC, heating, ventilation, and public health, from concept through to post-construction. Using industry-standard software and tools, you’ll produce calculations, schematics, drawings, and specifications, while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. You’ll also act as a key point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and design teams, mentoring junior engineers and contributing to design reviews to maintain technical excellence across the team. About You You will be degree-qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering with at least 8 years’ relevant experience. You’ll have strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services, proven project delivery experience, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office is essential. Working towards or already achieved Chartership is desirable.
