Apply NowA leading global property consultancy is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join its Manchester team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to lead significant property and construction projects while working with major clients across a broad range of sectors.
The Senior Project Manager will take ownership of commissions from inception through to completion, leading multidisciplinary teams and maintaining senior client relationships. This Senior Project Manager opportunity would suit an experienced Senior Project Manager who enjoys hands-on delivery while also supporting junior colleagues and contributing to the continued growth of the team. The successful Senior Project Manager will have access to a varied pipeline spanning commercial, residential, mixed-use, industrial, and wider property projects.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The Senior Project Manager's role
The Senior Project Manager will lead projects through feasibility, design, procurement, construction, handover, and close-out.
The Senior Project Manager will take responsibility for programme, risk, procurement, contract administration, change control, consultant coordination, and client reporting.
Alongside project delivery, the Senior Project Manager will develop client relationships, support junior Project Managers, and help maintain high standards across the Manchester project management team.
The Senior Project Manager
Strong construction consultancy experience
Proven experience independently leading projects
Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or similar
MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or another relevant professional qualification
Strong JCT and/or NEC contract knowledge
Excellent client and stakeholder management skills
Experience leading multidisciplinary consultant teams
Ability to manage multiple commissions
Commercially aware and confident communicating with senior clients
