Responsibilities and duties of the Junior Project Manager role
Reporting to the Managing Director you will:
Manage activities across a portfolio of ground-mounted solar sites using project management tools
Plan, define and coordinate project resource requirements
Ensure resources are delivered on time, in the right condition, and within budget
Support onboarding of new sites including security and subcontractors and system set up.
Manage activities of all project sites using project management tools
Build strong relationships and communication with field engineers and team leaders to ensure timely delivery of PPM tasks
Oversee the work of Junior Project Managers and Project Assistants based in India
Lead client satisfaction reviews and produce management reports
Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, Health & Safety, and environmental standards
Work in line with the company's Integrated Management System to support quality and HSE objectives
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Experience in a similar project management or asset manager role, ideally within renewables or construction
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with project management tools
Good knowledge of quality assurance and Health & Safety principles
Full UK driving licence
Personal skills
The Senior Project Manager role would suit someone who is:
Self-motivated, organised, and confident working to tight deadlines
Able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
Comfortable working across multiple projects simultaneously
Flexible and willing to occasionally travel and stay overnight
Passionate about renewable energy and working in a dynamic, collaborative environment
